We are looking for a Training and Deployment prime to work collaboratively with our dealer partners to understand their business processes (especially related to vehicle reconditioning), then prepare, implement, and verify the configuration of TrueSpot’s solutions. Role consists of configuration of both software and RTLS to ensure maximum dealer productivity and efficiency. Role also includes ongoing support and continuous learning from TrueSpot’s deployed solutions. This position is based in Plano, TX, with future roles also available in additional locations. This role is part of the team that is responsible for installing, deploying, tuning, training and final acceptance of TrueSpot’s Real Time Location Service (RTLS) networks. They will also be responsible for on-going site support for the networks. As a leader of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of development of the network solutions, identify best practices, and continuously improve the product and process through concepts such as DevOps. This position is full-time and based in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Define and contribute to the resource demand for the Network Deployment/Field Support teams. The growth plan should be in alignment with the TrueSpots’ rate of growth.
  • Define and build a team to deploy and support TrueSpot’s RTLS networks.
  • Manage and lead a strong technical team responsible for installation, deployment, configuration, acceptance, and support.
  • Expected to be a hands-on manager with technical depth, vision, and ability to innovate.
  • Responsible for coordinating and delivering Training to all levels of Dealership during installation
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Procurement, Engineering, Design, and vendors to manage network deployment and operational activities.
  • Manage site documentation, coverage planning, asset inventory, and hardware sparing.
  • Manage and improve global best practices and drive consistency across deployment teams.
  • Manage and build relationships with customer at the site level.
  • Up to 80% of travel required.
  • Responsible for planning travel/installation logistics on-site for install team

Minimum Qualification

  • 2+ years of experience managing a technical team preferred, with 2+ years of experience supporting, deploying, or designing networks.
  • Experience with process improvement and systems development, leveraging automation to streamline repetitive workflows.
  • Communication experience and experience working in a team environment.
  • Familiar with physical network install process (preferably RAN).
  • Physically capable to perform RTLS network installs, training, etc.

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Experience working in an RF/Telecom design and/or architecture.
  • Hands-on building a team and managing a team with enterprise and carrier class level support.
  • Experience analyzing situations and problem solving under pressure.
  • Experience leading a team working in a fast-paced startup team environment with limited supervision.
  • Attention to detail with time and project management skills.
  • Experience with large scale deployment operational requirements (OSHA, etc).
