Mike Hanna – CEO/Founder
Mike is relentless in his pursuit of innovation and value creation. With world-class experience in product creation, technology development, business cultivation, and go-to-market, Mike leverages his background and relentless passion for developing purposeful innovation for his favorite industry – Automotive. As an anchor point, Mike’s retail automotive and technology development experience creates the guide points for the TrueSpot suite of solutions. Mike has many sales and business achievement awards, including salesman of the month for one of the nation’s largest Honda Dealers. Mike loves his family and all sports that are played with a ball (and shiny cars).
Sam Paulos – Chief Financial Officer
Sam has owned two franchise auto dealerships and he brings his understanding of the pain points typical of an operational and management/ownership position to the TrueSpot leadership team. Sam still operates many companies, but his passion is consulting, and, in particular, startup investing. His specialty is accounting processes and business management. Companies he has personally owned and operated include professional accounting services, auto dealerships, CD and DVD manufacturing, music instrument manufacturing, music distribution, sound recording, bars and nightclubs, technology and software companies, real estate ventures, and others.
Jason Dyer – Chief Marketing Officer
Jason is a full-spectrum marketer who has led strategy and activation for organizations large and small. He started in advertising but quickly fell in love with technology marketing. Jason has held leadership positions with Nortel Networks, Nokia, Quickoffice (acquired by Google) and the A. H. Belo Corporation. Has has also spent nearly six years in the non-profit arena with the American Heart Association as both a volunteer and employee. His passions are his family, gluten-free beer, tennis, martial arts and midwestern colloquialisms.
Michael Simpson – Chief Revenue Officer
Michael has spent over 30 years as an executive building and leading sales teams, sales operations, partnerships, and channel strategy. For the last 13 years he has primarily focused on companies in the technology and technology-enabled services verticals. He brings insight to understanding how to build successful partnerships and channels through building relations with some of the largest organizations across the globe.
Randy Black – Chief Technology Officer
Randy Black brings more than 30 years of technology leadership experience and a passion for delivering high quality, scalable technology solutions. As TrueSpot’s Chief Technical Officer, Randy combines his passion for new technology and experience leading software teams to deliver a suite of solutions based on location services that deliver true geo-intelligence to automotive, health and other industries.
Prior to joining TrueSpot, Randy was the Senior Vice President of Research and Development of OneSource Virtual, maturing OSV’s technology and platform across a suite of HR and financial services and the Vice President of Technology Development at Voyager Sopris Learning, a Cambium Learning Group company. Randy holds 2 patents and began his technology management experience at IBM.
While he’s not working, Randy and his wife Kellie enjoy traveling and spending time with their family. He lives in Colleyville, Texas.
Randy holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and a MS in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University.
Brett Stewart – Chief Operating Officer
Brett Stewart is TrueSpot’s Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for operations and support while tying in the necessary product, business, and strategic initiatives necessary to move TrueSpot forward. Brett leads with a passion for quality, detail, and exceptional customer experience. He possesses excellent prioritization and problem-solving abilities to maximize the use of critical and scarce resources.
Before joining the TrueSpot, Brett worked in Telecom with experiences ranging from Product Management, R&D, and Sales, to Professional Services. It is the culmination of these experiences that he brings to the table that has contributed significantly to the growth and success of TrueSpot.
He attended Northwestern University for his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and also the University of Texas at Dallas for his MBA, neither of which gave him any passion for college sports.
Miguel Santamaria – Head of Product and Reporting
Miguel is a determined leader and is a driving force behind our company’s product and technology strategies. Among his many duties, Miguel directs TrueSpot’s long-term roadmap and vision for cloud and IoT-based products. In this role, Miguel brings significant product management experience, business acumen, technology know-how, and a disciplined focus on serving the auto dealership industry through the horizontal use-case concept. This approach enables dealers to significantly increase vehicle sales, improve customer satisfaction and reduce operational expenses.
Chris Bass – CLO/Secretary
Chris brings a wealth of legal expertise to the team. Areas of expertise include; managing and directing company litigation; draft, edit, and review corporate contracts; select, oversee, and directing outside counsel; supervise the defensive litigation lawyer and paralegal team and manage employment-related legal matters.
Amber Murdock – Vice President of Sales
Amber brings over 20 years of automotive and entrepreneurship to TrueSpot ranging from retail automotive, SAAS and business/home security. During her career she has worn many hats from building and directing her own dance academy, retail automotive management, automotive software management as well as managing sales/retention teams in the home security arena. Amber has had the opportunity to lead many teams to high levels of achievement. Amber is passionate about developing and implementing effective sales strategies leading nationwide sales teams in achieving goals. She loves negotiating, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and providing timely and effective solutions liaising with marketing developing departments. With her solid understanding of the current economy and how today’s market trends influence dealership sales, she is dedicated to help dealers find, track and map critical assets improving dealership processes and the customer experience.
Will Pearson – Head of Platform
Will is passionate about building software that creates and delivers true business value. Will has spent the last 15 years working as a consultant in the software industry. He brings broad experience in solving problems across many different business domains. He believes innovation begins when you can bridge the boundaries of what exist to create something new with new and greater potential. When Will is not coding he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, playing games, watching movies and enjoying each other’s company.
Aaron Carlock – Product Manager
Aaron Carlock comes brings 25 years of technology experience through Technical Support, Product Management, Project Management, and Cybersecurity. After spending 6 years in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician, he has worked with GPS guidance systems, handheld computers, remote connection software, Point of Sale Systems, and other products in the Agriculture and Hospitality industries. Aaron puts the customer first and is passionate about solving problems. He lives in Grapevine with his wife and 2 sons.
Alex Tristan – Customer Success Manager
I have almost a decade of Automotive Industry experience, with 6 of those years coming from some of the Largest Nissan and Chevrolet Auto groups in Colorado. Lately, I have been assisting dealers by bringing my expertise in the dealership world to work alongside them and helping their teams maximize success and profitability. I am known in the Automotive Solution space for building strong partnerships with Dealers and working together with their various departments to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. I am a Houston Native, so when I’m not working, I am enjoying a baseball or football game with the family, 20 miles offshore catching Snapper, or traveling back to the Rocky Mountains to chase snowstorms for the best snow days at the ski resorts.
Bryan Bock – Marketing Director
Bryan is a skilled designer with experience in all aspects of visual design, from web-based to content management. A detail-oriented and dynamic thinker in developing and delivering comprehensive campaigns.
Justin Fuller – Director of Digital Sales at TrueSpot
I am an entrepreneur and business leader with experience selling IT solutions in the automotive field. I have 6 years experience working retail at a franchise store in the Austin market. Prior to that, I worked as a creative coordinator in marketing and promotions for a radio cluster. I come from an eclectic military family based out of San Antonio and I am a Texas State University alum.
Braxton West – Regional Sales Executive
Dynamic leader with several years of experience in Training and Project Planning. Proven success driving results through building relationships, developing new business, managing projects from concept to completion and motivating a team toward success. Skilled at using analytical thinking skills and creative problem solving to effectively address challenges that arise while making decisions based on research and data analysis. Committed to providing an exceptional customer experience by working hand-in-hand with internal and external stakeholders to provide support, guidance and resolve inquiries or problems efficiently.
Colin Finigan – Director of Recon Sales
I am a 23 year veteran of the automotive industry 17 years of that in the dealership trenches and have felt the pain and rewards of the car business. I made the shift to help dealers be more efficient, profitable, and successful in these challenging times while giving back the most valuable asset we all wish we had more of-TIME. Time is one thing we all feel we need more of, or feel that we give too much of. This is what brings me enjoyment with helping dealers now, giving back time. When I’m not working, I am spending time with the family, rock crawling in my Toyota FJ Cruiser, going on road trips, and doing photography.
Mayra Munoz – Corporate Sales Development
Over a decade of automotive experience ranging from Operator/Greeter to BDC Rep/Manager, that wasn’t enough got the opportunity to be an Inventory/Sales/Finance Consultant. I’m focused on helping my team, and your dealership exceed goals. I have a strong understanding of the processes and struggles that go on every day at dealerships. That is why I am helping promote advocate the use of solutions I have firsthand experience with.
Steeven Sylveus – Developer
Steeven is an experience software engineer with a focus on mobile applications. He is skilled in iOS development, android development, backend, as well as UI Design. He is passionate about learning new technologies and sharing his knowledge with those around him.
Sarah Fraser – Web Developer
Sarah has 10 years of experiential marketing experience. She has managed programs in the DFW area for clients including: Nintendo, Google, Nike, and Samsung. Specifically, within the automotive industry, I have 6 years of marketing experience. Roles have included working as an Assessor for Nissan’s CEE Program, as a Tour Manager for FIAT, Product Specialist for Mazda, and an Event Manager for Lincoln.
Aidin Amini – Recon Software Lead
Aidin having 20+ years of automotive experience brings a ground up understanding of dealership workflow and operations. Having been with the company for almost 2 years now, he’s had his hand at network monitoring, app testing, configuration, customer and personel trainging as well as a few other “hats”. Aidin works with customers and the TrueSpot team daily to handle training, internal higher level support, recon software configurations, customer consultations and now transitioning over to Marketing as well.
Ollie Wells – Installation Leader
Ollie has 5+ years working in customer relations always making sure the customer is top priority everyday. He has been working with the install team since he joined TrueSpot in the fall of 2021 and has had the pleasure to personally meet many of our customers on site and grow relations. Ollie works with new customers as the link between the Sales Team and the Install team to ensure a seamless and successful onboarding process to get your dealership up and running with the TrueSpot System.

Manuel is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems at The University at Arlington. He has acquired his Associates degree in Computer Science at Tarrant County College, first in his family to earn a college degree. Manuel is a young adult motivated by his career in technology and learning new things that will contribute to his character. Manuel works to improve the mobile apps and monitor dealer networks. Manuel, born and raised in Fort Worth also enjoys lifting weights, playing basketball, binge watching his favorite shows, and spending quality time with his close ones.
Erik Edwards – Customer Service Specialist
Erik is a seasoned veteran of customer support services and management roles in multiple industries including automotive, insurance and firearms. He joins TrueSpot from Cox Automotive where he operated multiple product suites serving over thirty major banking institutions and thousands of auto dealerships. Prior to that, he was the account manager for Santander and Chrysler Capital during his time at F&I Express where his skills and duties in SaaS support were extremely varied. His experience as a licensed independent insurance adjuster combined with property and casualty work for Farmers Insurance provided him extensive knowledge of both the insurance and automotive industries. His strong investigative skills and analytical approach to problem solving provides clientele timely and efficient solutions. Erik’s interests and activities include painting, hiking, camping, reading, and playing bass guitar. He is a native Texan from Dallas.
Nathan Herr – Recon Prime
Highly accomplished, results-driven sales and operations leader with a fantastic track record of successful new business development, sales, competitive market expansion across a variety of industries, both foreign and domestic.
Most recently challenged to develop a training and developmental program spanning three departments. Inspiring Account Managers, Regional Managers, Agents, Dealership Partners, and Dealer Success to exceed all their individual goals and company objectives, while personally troubleshooting, developing, and implementing management strategies that support game-changing business development plans.
An outdoor enthusiast and all-around adrenaline-fiend with an uncanny ability to unite people toward a common goal and forge strong, productive relationships by being infectiously passionate about working hard, playing hard and enjoying the finer things in life.
Kenneth Akhotmy – Fixed Operations Specialist
Kenneth is an experienced pharmacy technician with 5 years of medication and customer service experience, but wanted to explore a new opportunity in the automotive industry.
Dirk Williamson – EVP TrueSpot Health
Dirk is a senior sales and development executive with over 25 years’ experience in the communications, high tech, and digital sectors. Dirk has held leadership roles at Twilio, Google, Accenture, and Nokia, leading diverse GTM, Marketing, Business Development, and Industry Relations teams.
Angela Williams – Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development & GPO’s, Angela brings expertise to TrueSpot Health, with versatile business growth strategies, partnering and selling to C-Level within the healthcare space.
Prior to joining TrueSpot Health, Angela worked with a variety of technology startups, medical device distribution & pharmaceuticals. In these roles, she was responsible for leading all go-to-market strategy efforts as well as managing global training efforts with strategic partners. Additionally, she has held various positions at BMS, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, and Medline Industries.
She has brought her entrepreneurial spirit to TrueSpot Health bringing our industry leading RTLS platform into partnerships with GPO’s and Healthcare Organizations.
